Technology Ministry

Our purpose as defined in our constitution:
The Technology Ministry team shall have special responsibility under the supervision of the Pastor(s) and the Congregational Council for the use of Technology, including computer, telecommunications, and audio-visual media, to spread the Gospel, to create an interactive worship environment, and to communicate the mission and programs of all Council Ministry teams to this congregation and the community.

Q: What does that mean?
A: Our purpose is to work with technology to help the office operations of the church, increase our web presence internally and externally, and to use technology in any way that may benefit the church

Q: Who's on the ministry team? and who are we looking for?
A: We currently have a very diverse group of people helping with technology. Who are we looking for? ANYONE! Even people who aren't neccessarily technically savy would be a great help. Sometimes we're working on websites and could definitely use a non-technical person to provide feedback on our ideas.

Q: What if I can't attend the team meetings because I have other obligations on the meeting nights?
A: Even if you can't attend the meetings, we could still use your help. We all have our own lives outside of church and we completely understand if you have conflicts with the team meeting schedule. We can correspond through SharePoint and still make use of any talents that are offered to us.
